Armored Warfare

Hi. Seeing that BoS now has a tank mission segment i was wondering if anyone has tried out the tank sim " Armored Warfare" and how does it rate.

absolutely astonishingly bad. the tank models are extremely detailed and high quality, except for the fact that they didn't use any schematics and the proportions and shapes are all messed up. gameplay is basically a mix of war thunder and world of tanks. dice roll system instead of actual ballistics. the chance for a tank to catch fire is actually based on a dice roll, for example. i shot a tank in the front, but because my commander had some affinity for fire(20%) increased pyromania or some idiocy, i started a fire...shooting the front spokes.

 

i played for a month since nothing else was there, but uninstalled promptly yesterday when my prized possession, the t-80, was killed from aimbot ai.

 

don't let the graphics fool you, they put very little effort into making it resemble an actual armored combat game. engagements happen at most 100 feet in these maze like counter strike corridor maps(for a vehicle game no less)

World of Modern tanks. Another reskin cash grab.

 

Next it will be world of Medieval siege engines...

 

...actually, I'd play that.
