It would be cool if down the road we could buy just the grips to be able to switch them out. I would imagine just the grip should not be that expensive?

The grip mold is the most expensive part in joystick project...

 

See the price of this examples.

 

Maybe in the (?) future this option - extra grips -  became viable with Replika Grips dream, and not limited to "Jet" grips.

When I inquired about the VKB grips, if this is what you are referring to, I was told that with the Fat Mamba it would be possible to purchase other grips for the base as they became available and swap them over.

 

That was through VKB Europe, I think there is a metal vintage grip option in the pipeline, somewhere down the line
