Help please in multiplayer most planes throttle drops off!

Love the game, but in multiplayer can only fly 109's and 190 as all other aircraft including all Russian planes the throttle just revs up to about 2,700 and then falls back to 1500. If I wait about 10 secs I can get max power again but only for an instant. My HUD stills says 100% power but I'm trundeling down the runway like a geriatric on Prozac. Impossible to achieve take off speeds. I have gone over all settings, brakes etc etc and can find nothing amiss. All aircraft work perfectly within the normal game it's just in multiplayer. I love the 109 but would love to fly other aircraft in multiplayer, PLEASE help

sounds to me like you need to increase prop pitch as 109 and 190 have automatic prop pitch and mixture control. servers running in expert require you to manage your engine.

Have you set 100% pitch and 100% mixture before taxi onto runways .

once airborne open oil and water . 

You must do this for Russian a/c and the stuka .

Sounds like a supercharger problem. You switching to the 2nd stage?

Thank you for the advice, Stupidly assumed my engine management would carry over into multiplayer from the game. Now set up my saitek controls to cover pitch and mixture and bingo  I'm flyin' I'm shootin' and I'm dyin' .....LOTS!
