Lt_Tomonaga Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 It happened in IL-2 and Ju-87. The impression is the engine and prop RPM is on max, but the wheels wont turn like some invisible brakes won't let go. The plane may roll slowly but won't pick up speed.I tried all kinds of keys but no help...
coconut Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 For the IL-2, make sure your mixture is properly set. It will feel that way if you leave it too low.
StG77_Kondor Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 Sounds like for the Ju-87 your prop pitch setting is not set to 100%. Stuka does not have auto RPM controls, so the auto/manual key binding does not work for it. You'll need to key bind the Prop Pitch/RPM command.
Sokol1 Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 Set ATA 1.3 ~ 1.4 (1 min) RPM 2.500 ~ 2.600 Trim nose up and don't need event touch the stick. Wheels up reduce for 1.25 and ~2.400 to climb or the engine blow up. Other fact is, you are with fuel tank 100% and that "Hollywood" bombs?
TP_Jacko Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 Alternatively unlock the hand break sometimes its set to on when starting. Which is the case for the last time I took off a Stuka
