Lippisch Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 If you accidentally type a letter in the Properties Window's Position or Orientation input boxes, then the STEditor gives the "Enter a Number" error, and if you press OK it just enters the input again and loops the error.
JimTM Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 (edited) So, when you press OK, the problem entry is not highlighted and you cannot delete or correct it? That is, when you press OK and do nothing else, you immediately get another error message? Edited December 8, 2015 by JimTM

Correct, although the problem seems to be that the entry remains highlighted, and pressing OK on the error popup also enters the entry again.
JimTM Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 Correct, although the problem seems to be that the entry remains highlighted, and pressing OK on the error popup also enters the entry again. Hmmm, strange. When I try it in the orientation property on my editor, I can click OK and delete the highlighted letter entry. No other suggestions right now I'm afraid.

Lippisch Posted December 9, 2015 Author Posted December 9, 2015 Perhaps shut that down while you are using the editor. Oh sorry, I'm quite tired and confused. Of course there are 2 Dserver applications but only one edition of the STEditor. I do not run the Dserver when using the STEditor. I am using Windows 10 and a programmable keyboard (gaming) so that could be the cause.
JimTM Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 Ah, I see. As I said, I'm fresh out of ideas right now. Best of luck!
Lippisch Posted December 9, 2015 Author Posted December 9, 2015 (edited) When entering values I found it's okay just to left click on the map, otherwise you may run the risk of entering this loop if you press Enter/Tab - and having your mission making day ruined. Just a bad habit. Cheers Jim. Edited December 9, 2015 by Lippisch
