How do you resize and position the in game map?

Depends what you call "map".

 

The thing bring with key "M" is a mere "GPS/RADAR/AWACS" display, without zoom.

 

With "O" key you call a full screen map, sufficiently detailed for navigation "IFRR" and zoom'able with mouse scroll wheel.

The briefing window show above this map can be close clicking in the >>

Thanks! the "Full" Map wasnt assigned by default. I guess its called "briefing".... got it.

(the "mini" maps , radar/gps/whatever, I cant read, too small, and way out of my RL field of vision.)

 

 

Im assuming with out playing with it too much...its fixed full screen? And not like RoF.

 

If so, this is really ashame!

Yes, you can see the map in "briefing" (O) only in full screen -  not in window like in RoF.

Tip - Hit the key for "Autopilot for level flight" before open the "map" to avoid that Earth hit you.
