I think this should be fairly straight forward, as this question pops up every now and then.

A Poll just might help the developers in deciding boxed version yes or no.

If developers have to decide that question. I imagine that's a question for marketing department.

Yes, but maybe if the marketing department sees there is an interest in the boxed version, that may sway their

decision?

Collector's edition deffinitely as long as I can use it to upgrade my pre-order account and bonus goodies aren't overlaping with preorder ones.

Bit old fashioned. I'd the gamed issued on "CD." Maybe a limited run for those who bought in early?

If there was collector's edition with all kind of physical goodies, like map for example, I would buy it.

And a statue of a pilot, and a book...

I'd buy that.

Why? Never had faulty keys? Also the fun of getting a game onto a new computer when the old one kicks

the bucket? All good reasons for having a dvd and not just a key that might, or might not work.

Just need to think of Norton Antivirus, paid twice for nothing as their darn keys did not work, and the only

answer I got from them, was that it was my problem. Was by the way the last time I ever bought anything from them.

oh, it needs to have iron cross and golden star of hero of soviet union also.

I really hope there will be a boxed version. I am sure I am not the only one who won't be able to download a large game like BoS because of a slow or limited internet connection.

I can get a few of those on eBay if you want some :)

This is actually still a problem for some people. Same reason I will most likely to be able to try BoS only in early December. If you operate mostly in Europe or North-America, it's really easy to forget that there is no high speed internet everywhere, or you may have to pay by how much you use it and it may be very expensive.

I would buy a boxed version. Nice to have the backup disk when reformatting or upgrading to new computer.

A downable version was also good, like ROF. So I can burn the game on a DVD.

I have the original boxed RoF.

The media is worthless now, it's faster to download the most recent executable and update from there.

Would buy a collector's edition.

Simple DVD is rather useless after some patches. Easier to download then.

Hi guys, I just joined and I'm glad to meet you!

I tried to wait for the new year to seriously consider BoS but ... I did it!

I would like to submit to you a question: I use a computer to play, now with DBW 1.71 + TFM, it has no internet connection (intentionally), but I have another pc  I use as a mule and it has internet connection.

Could I download the game and the activation key and move everything on the pc I use for sim games? Do you think it is feasible or do I have to be connected to the internet for activation?

Another little question: BoS will also be available on CD, maybe next year, or via internet connection only?

Many thanks for your kindly replies!

Ciao!
