Nice map (Stalingrad summer); I was flying for the LW and it was nice to see them really going after the mission objectives. I was flying a G2 and every time I approached a ground target, it would get destroyed. The 110's were moving serious mud today . I strafed an airbase, on the first pass I blew up an ammo dump - didn't know you could do that. Sometime during that first pass my radiator took some damage, either from flak or the ammo dump blowing up. I made another pass, heading west this time, and was able to get several trucks. I nursed my kite back across the Volga and landed at a secondary field just west of the river. I got no points since it counted as an emergency landing, but it was a fun mission. Judging from the chat screen, there was a lot of PvP fighting going on as well. As Ahhhnold would say: 'I'll be back' . Good hunting, =CFC=Conky 3

Feathered_IV Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Most targets are within sight of your base so its pretty easy to get home with battle damage. Hopefully they add some distant targets so that navigation becomes interesting for experienced players.

I particularly liked the detail in the buldings which are much more concentrated than the typical maps. I got tired of the forced loadouts in WoL, the little time i have to play online, i dont want to spend it playing in a role i dont enjoy. 2

Unfortunately I don't understand enough German to understand the briefings but the intent of the mission is still pretty clear. Whoa! I have definitely tried that before to no avail. Maybe I didn't hit it enough. And yes, Fighting Legends is my new go to server! Hi Silky, I don't think it was a spawning base and it looked like it had been 'visited' beforehand . That's the problem with WoL especially in the later hours, the targets are spread out 100km so no one finds anyone else besides going to their airfield. I quit the moment I see that. + 1 to what silky said, I think the missions are well balanced as is, I wouldn't change anything. It helps that there's no gps, so there's that added level of difficulty. I definatly would not call fighting legends an air quake server...not that vibe at all. You should spend more time there before you make that claim.

The idea is to reward players and teams that bring their planes back, and also to allow for resupply convoys: Players take off with a ground attack plane from a rear airfield (which has infinite amounts of planes) and land them at the forward airfield. If the airfield is configured to refuel/rearm/repair planes, the plane will be added to the airfield.

I think that u should at least consider putting airfields and objectives further away from each other, whole point of flying without GPS is to navigate through waste steppes of russia, but currently thats not challenge at all, you just fly to volga and folow it, same with flying back, just do one or two missions with different frontline or objectives further away, I think its worth a shot. Another thing is servers stats, I think that would lure a lot of players since most of us rly like reading on how much we spent airborne, what did we destroyed, and how succesful are others. And as last thing if you ever consider accepting donations for the server let us know, I dont mind sending few bucks your way for the work you are doing Edit: one more thing to objectives distance: If theres a factory far behind frontlines you basicly have to take He-111 or Pe-2 to make significant damage to it, that should lead to more diversity in sorties, since now its 110 with some escort all the time :D, I d love to see coordinated heinkel raid at 5k on a long distance Edited December 13, 2015 by II./JG1_Deschain
9./JG27DavidRed Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 ^^the thing is, once our server is populated, we could try to make missions with bigger distances...but thats not the case.our server is usually empty or only a handfull of people are flying on it. if we had constantly 60 pilots flying, we could consider it...but right now, we observed, that as soon as our third mission is running, where the distances are a little bigger, people usually leave the server after 1 flight, because they hardly spot anything. server stats...we would do it, if we had the skills. nobody of us is into html, website creation or whatever is necessary to implement them somewhere and make it accessible for the public. if somebody has a free webspace and the knowledge to host the stats, then let us know. server donations will be accepted...but again, without a "donate button" on a nice website, where we also could list the monthly server costs, and whats already been donated by whom, we feel its too little transparent. Skoop Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 ^ yes, that's why this server is actually becoming popular at US prime time, because the server plays well at 20 or less players, you can actually find the enemy. WOL at US prime time is trying to find 5 players on a giant map.

So dark I can't even see anything for 45 minutes, straffing an airfield with several planes around who came following the tracers but we couldn't see each other except for several very short times.I KS someone from JG27.
