Flying in Circles

I'm dong the I JG51 career. So far in the first two missions my flight will only fly in circles around the base. I can proceed by myself along the flight plan but they'll just keep flying circles around the base. On an intercept mission they climbed up to maybe 3-4,000 meters still circling.

I figured after takeoff they might orbit once to assemble the flight but they just stay there. Also flying so slow in the 190s I almost have to put flaps down (300 kph) in order to stay with them.

Please post the mission and eng files the next time this happens.  I have never seen it but I also don't really fly that much either.  

 

There should be a high priority WP 3 KM past the end of the runway.  After that comes the climbing phase.  Then the mission WPs.  There may be a scenario where the dots are not properly connected.  A mission file would be of great use in isolating the problem.

Mission ESCORT: 2 Bf-109F4 accompany 4 HE-111.

After the reset, the bombers returned to the point where we were met and formed a circle. My leading circled with them. In closeness there was no airfield for landing HE-111.

When I became the fuel run out, I threw them, and returned to their base.They continued to circle.

strange about circling. Actually i flew about 13 missions in yak as sergeant; I was int fourth position to take off (last one) during the first 10 missions which had no problem of circling. The leader took off and began flying following the waypoints on the map leading us to fight. From mission 11 to 13 we were only two planes ready to take off on the runway : the leader before me and me as segeant wingman and problem of circling began there when we were only two planes; the leader took off and I followed and the leader began circling without following the waypoints....and I had to fly alone heading for the target...
