Loving the addition of BoM aircraft into the BoS campaign

I have a love/hate relationship with the campaign. I initially found it to be a bit of a chore but I grew to enjoy it after I really started to play the game and I found being able to jump in and fight some of these battles pretty much when I had the time. The decision was a radical one compared to what campaigns used to be like in the IL-2 series but it's really grown on me. The added variety with the seasonal map patch was pretty huge but the thing I really wanted to say is that I am loving the addition of historically appropriate BoM aircraft into the campaign missions.

 

The biggest problem was the lack of aircraft variety. If you were flying 109s then you always knew you'd run across a Yak-1 or a LaGG-3. Now I'm seeing I-16s and P-40s in the mix. I flew a bomber intercept the other day flying a La-5 and then suddenly instead of the usual targets... Bf109E-7s with bomb racks and a MC.202 escort. Stuff like this makes me really happy and the variety and diversity makes a difference.
