Feathered_IV Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Jabo. Plus I quite like Jens. And congratulations to you both. Best free addon ever.* *You'll have to pay later though! 2
Cybermat47 Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Jägermeister He'd be very popular at the pub in that case
Lippisch Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 (edited) I have to say that I'm partial to Alexander (Sasha would be the Russian nickname)... But Juri is nice, (though you may wish to spell it Yuri lest people pronounce his name as Jury ). Johannes is also a handsome name. How about Jacques? The Russian equivalent being Jasha. Good luck with it! Edited December 4, 2015 by Lippisch
Finkeren Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Plus I quite like Jens. Not Jens. You have no idea how ridiculous it sounds to us Scandinavians, when English speakers try to pronounce it.
Guest deleted@50488 Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Joseph eheheh I'm a José ( = Joseph in Portuguese )
Feathered_IV Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Not Jens. You have no idea how ridiculous it sounds to us Scandinavians, when English speakers try to pronounce it. Aw, but that's why I like it.

Finkeren Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 (edited) Joseph eheheh I'm a José ( = Joseph in Portuguese ) I have a friend who's married to a Turkish woman and have two sons with her: One is named Josef and the other Cengiz (after Stalin and Genghis Khan respectively) I kid you not. Guest deleted@50488 Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Ok, forget about the "J", call him Ronaldo! Maybe the baby grows up to be a multi-million football player and can buy you a Jetstream for your flight simming :-) or even a ww2 fighter !!!
Finkeren Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 (edited) If you want some ideas for scandinavian names, that actually sound cool in English, might I suggest: Bjarki (or Bjarke) Ingvar Erich (or Erik) Valdemar (this is actually a medieval adaptation of the Rus name Vladimir, and it has the added benefit of sounding a lot like "Voldemort") Edited December 4, 2015 by Finkeren

Rickard and Karl could work tho Edited December 4, 2015 by 6./ZG26_McKvack
Finkeren Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Oh and Jarl as well, that's a real mans name! To add on the list: Rickard, Henrik, Karl and Ragnar Edit: Just realised they dont sound so good in English(I think). Rickard and Karl could work tho Actually Ragnar sounds way cooler in English. In Danish we use these soft Gs that make "Ragnar" sound more like "Rauner".
Finkeren Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 (edited) If you want to put pressure on the boy right from the start, I just wanna point out, that "Awesome" is recognised as a boys name here in Denmark. If you wanna be a little tongue-in-cheek with your cultural references, you can name him "Awesome Welles" Edited December 4, 2015 by Finkeren
