Lusekofte Posted December 4, 2015 Author Posted December 4, 2015 It just say what I needed to hear, this is WT territory. Most people like being asholes in the inter web . so why not here. But non of this was my initial meaning. My point are, most people in this sim only want to fly 109 and yaks, they do not want to waist time taxi and navigating. So we need a server with non GPS and you will find very few using it, this is why I think this game never will evolve and grow. It is a FPS game people fly until they are fed up and leave, So the player number will be constant, the number of people leaving it will equal those coming
Cybermat47 Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 (edited) The fact that fighters find it so humiliating that I manage to take them down with my fixed forward gun combined with using rear gun , that they choose to disconnect rather than take the fight to the end , rather amuse me, but I feel they expect me to be a polite fat target and give them a free kill every time they call for it, that I got a problem with. I was attacking an airfield in CloD once, and a player in a Hurricane kept taxiing to point at me so he could shoot me. I got the hell out of there, because I didn't want to see how much he'd kick my ass while airborne. Then I landed at my airfield, and he came after me and strafed me. One of the most immersive and fun experiences I've had in a flight sim. Read the responses....is painting a very sad picture. Disconnecting to avoid losses..acceptable Constant spawn raping....acceptable You'd be banned from servers most genre...especially FPS's. The people justifying it here to the OP,are very sad lowbobs....zero integrity. If spawn raping is the norm, it tells me the Devs need to put mannable/auto AA down....are they dedi servers ? it doesn't sound like it. I didn't see anyone here justifying drawn-out vulching or disconnecting to avoid losses. Nobody here is stupid enough to see those as good things. When I attack an airfield, I only destroy a player once. If they respawn back at that airfield while I'm still there, then I don't shoot at them again. Not that this discussion particularly effects me. I mostly fly ground attack, and find taking off under fire to be fun and highly immersive. Plus, seeing as a year ago I was looking for a good way to kill myself, this discussion seems laughable to me. I don't know about you, but I've found that video games aren't the most important thing in the world. Edited December 4, 2015 by Cybermat47
Y-29.Silky Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 (edited) I wouldn't exactly call an aircraft with ammunition in it's guns defenseless. I'm not defenseless here? You justify this action? http://gfycat.com/BruisedSerpentineBlueshark Most of this mentality originates from Clod. As cool as the scene looks from my end, I don't find it immersive at all being strafed with guns by rogue aircraft. Especially when the airfield isn't an objective. II/JG17_HerrMurf Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 I think he means if he lets you get airborne you are a threat. 1
Cybermat47 Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 (edited) I'm not defenseless here? You justify this action? http://gfycat.com/BruisedSerpentineBlueshark You were about to take off with fully loaded guns. If you were defenceless there, then a person with a holstered gun is defenceless until they draw it. Also, it's a video game, not real life. It doesn't need justification, because nothing of any importance was done. I honestly don't understand how people can get so worked up over a video game, aren't there more important things to worry about? P.S. Because you feel so strongly about it, if I see you on the airfield, I won't strafe you. I'm not out to annoy people Edited December 4, 2015 by Cybermat47
