PC freezes at start

Hi guys

Just bought the game and tried to play yesterday - however no luck.
As soon as i hit play(bought on Steam), my screen goes black and there's absolutely no response form a PC at all - only hard reset will help.
I'm assuming it has to be crossfire error to some extend as game runs in windowed mode or when the crossfire is switched off completely - won't help if only in game profile.

Funny things is - my screen still shows there's a signal coming in, but cannot alt-tab, ctrl+alt+del. Noticed that keybord doesn't work at all - no response to caps lock etc.

My video is 5870x2 and in windowed mode or with no crossfire my fps at balanced settings are RANDOMLY on average 19 or 36 - it just changes sometimes when i start game.

My drivers version - 15.11 - i have tried newest crimson drivers as well, but it did cause a lot of problems with other games unfortunately.

Also - i have ROF installed as well - and it works with crossfire on with absolutely no problem - i'm getting steady 60 fps (Vsync on) with reasonable settings.

Has anyone experienced anything like that?
Any ideas how to fix it?

I bought the game on Steam. So i tried to start it from Steam apps/layout - it said it's up to date.

However when opened launcher.exe from game folder with admin rights - first it analysed all files and then DOWNLOADED about 100mB of patch data.

Then started game through exec file within game folder again (il2.exe) and it's fine.

I have not tried to start the game through steam even after this minipatch done by launcher though - maybe it did fix it, maybe not - don't care as long as it works that way.

Have the same problem and can't fix it. Where did you find "launcher.exe"? I've searched all the files in the folder (in steamapps) and can't find it. Tried to launch the game from the ile.exe file running as admin but still get the black screen. You can hear all the sounds of the game but there's a black screen, no keys work and you have to manually push the reset button on the computer to get it to function at all. I don't get it?!
