=362nd_FS=RoflSeal Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 IIRC only 31 StuGIII F/8 with L48 gun were produced (oct-nov 42) and G model entered serial production in dec 1942. Spielbergers Panzer IV and its variants page 54
PatrickAWlson Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Maus. Then we can have hundreds of mice running around Stalingrad . 1
Brano Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Hi Patrick, what about campaign generator for tankers?
L3Pl4K Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 (edited) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sturer_Emil could be nice, for balance, Wehrmacht should have 2 at the same time . Edited December 2, 2015 by L3Pl4K
PatrickAWlson Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Hi Patrick, what about campaign generator for tankers? - not likely any time soon. Still way too much to do in the air.
Finkeren Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 (edited) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sturer_Emil could be nice, for balance, Wehrmacht should have 2 at the same time . I know you're joking, but honestly a couple of those wouldn't do much. Sure, they could one-shot a T-34 at any range, but a T-34 could one-shot it right back from any angle out beyond 1000m. Finkeren Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Joke..no.. this device was in service at battle of stalingrad. I know. One was destroyed and the other captured, and it seems that they took quite a heavy toll on the red tank forces, while they were in action. Still, there were just the two of them and no more, ever. To include them would be more ridiculous than adding AM-38 engined MiG-3s to BoM, just because two prototypes were combat tested there.

If one get lost, no replacement.
wtornado Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 I don't really care... I'm in it for the planes.... The tanks are a nice option but if we never had another driveable one I would't mind. If more can be added with minimal impact on overall development fine with me but this is a flight sim first and foremost and I think that is always going to be the team's focus until perhaps later on inthesim's life cycle. Take that back you do not mean it please! Very sad here.
wtornado Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 I would like a Wirbelwind or a Ostwind and virtual pilots flying over head.
Samusenko Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 My baby the T34/76 Model 42 would complete me (I love that turret).
Finkeren Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 (edited) My baby the T34/76 Model 42 would complete me (I love that turret). I love that model (especially with the commanders cuopola added in mid-1941) However It's really a late-1942 production model, and as such it would only truly be suitable for the last part of the battle. Yeah, It's a great piece of design work. Late '42 (more likely early '43 but come on, that model...) is still '42 (; It's my favourite tank design of the war apart from the T-34/85 Model 1944 which is gorgeous. 1

Finkeren Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 I love that model (especially with the commanders cuopola added in mid-1941) The cuopola was added in mid-1943 of course. Sorry 'bout that.
Samusenko Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 So beautiful... The cuopola was added in mid-1943 of course. Sorry 'bout that. I assumed you meant '43 ahah, otherwise that Cupola was being worked on by an absolute perfectionist q: While back in this topic, might as well drop my other wants: BT7, KV-1, Panzer 38(t), Panzer IV F2 along with the SU-76 and Marder II
Cybermat47 Posted December 4, 2015 Author Posted December 4, 2015 (edited) While back in this topic, might as well drop my other wants: ... Marder II Now that would be fun. Getting into some trees, watching a T-34 go past you, and blasting them with the 75mm Edited December 4, 2015 by Cybermat47
VBF-12_Stick-95 Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 What about making other current weapon objects mannable? AAA and anti-tank.
Yogiflight Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Or both in one. The fabulose "AchtAcht". AAA and Antitank gun in one.
wtornado Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 (edited) Have you guys ever owned the 1c ''Theatre of War'' collection. Four games from the Russian front right up Korean War. The AT gun crews with that game then were so much fun to see them operate, loading the gun swinging the gun around. Still play it today. 1c Maddox ring a bell who made that collection? When you look at that game you see IL-2 1946 in the graphics in it except you are on the ground. That T-34-85 is smoking like a K car in that video. Edited December 5, 2015 by WTornado
Mirones Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 some Stug3 and other Panzer IV F2 or F1 + Matilda and Crusader in pair with an Hurrican and Spitfire we could have north africa.
Samusenko Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 (edited) Now that would be fun. Getting into some trees, watching a T-34 go past you, and blasting them with the 75mm Yeeeees, I love the Marder as well as all of the 38(t) chassis' tanks, the Hetzer is my favourite from that group. Lend lease Valentine's would be nice to see too! Edited December 5, 2015 by Samusenko

Getting into some trees, watching a T-34 go past you, and blasting them with the 75mm Ref the Marder: Not so much fun getting drilled through the paper-thin armour though. Or outflanked and machine-gunned from the rear. Edited December 5, 2015 by kendo
216th_Lucas_From_Hell Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 When artillery correcting is introduced, I think the BM-13/Katyusha would be an awesome addition. One player circling around in a Pe-2 while the other makes it rain fire on the fields.
-TBC-AeroAce Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 (edited) Not really sure about the practicality of a player controlled Katyusha as its a one shot thing (I know it has many rockets). I guess the thing would probably take 10-20 mins to rearm From wiki "Katyusha batteries were often massed in very large numbers to create a shock effect on enemy forces. The weapon's disadvantage was the long time it took to reload a launcher, in contrast to conventional guns which could sustain a continuous low rate of fire." It would be cool as an AI player controlled vehicle Edited December 5, 2015 by [TBC]AeroACE
216th_Lucas_From_Hell Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Fair point, actually. A BT-7 would be useful though, not because of its guns and armour but because of the speed.

senseispcc Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 For me this is not a tank game so i have no opinion and ask for infantry !!!
wtornado Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 For me this is not a tank game so i have no opinion and ask for infantry !!! There are no real WWII tank simulations that are any good T-34 vs Tiger was the best one I had that was closest to a tank sim. If they do it historically right with this game it could attract other types of players to the game in tanks. It just makes me happier to destroy human controlled and not AI controlled tanks ingame with my IL-2 or my Stuka. If I only flew fighters I would be indifferent but I fly everything.
Jaws2002 Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 My all time favorite: the awesome Jagdpanther:
LLv32_mrkus Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Playable AAA (static and on tracks/wheels) would be really fun in my opinion.
TheElf Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 A Bergepanzer would be nice. It would add an extra element to gameplay if you could respond to a damaged player's call and trundle out to save them. Getting points for it of course. agreed. Everyone wants to shoot stuff. Such violence... Seriously a recovery mission would be cool, for both tankers and pilots. Good thinking Fink.
