taffy2jeffmorgan Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 Hi. I have been having a persistent monitor display problem recently which is getting worse! especially when playing BoS I loose the monitor picture every two seconds which can sometimes goes on and on. This can be very frustrating, in fact its doing it now while i write this post !!!!!!!!!! I have tried switching from port to port on my graphics card [GTX 970] but the fault persists, next i'll buy a new cable [ graphic card to monitor] and try that, and I suppose the worse scenario is that my monitor may need replacing. Anyone else experienced this problem, or any other tests i can do. Cheers. JM.

Well, then you know it's probably not the cable. Next you should try connecting your monitor to another computer, maybe a friend's laptop if you have only one computer at home. And/or connect your PC to another monitor, or to a TV.
taffy2jeffmorgan Posted November 29, 2015 Author Posted November 29, 2015 Thanks Coconut. That's another idea, rule out, if possible the monitor
taffy2jeffmorgan Posted November 30, 2015 Author Posted November 30, 2015 I have just fitted a new monitor to graphics card cable and have been on my computer for the last hour [boS] and not a single DVI message, so fingers crossed !
