No problem and welcome - I hope you end up buying some of the Battle of Stalingrad Series, in some respects they are a generation ahead of CLOD: unfortunately also more expensive but you can always wait for a sale.

 

I cannot tell you where CLOD MP aces post their videos (yes = Multi Play, SP = Single Player) since I do not play CLOD much and I am not sure where the main CLOD forum activity is now, maybe here https://theairtacticalassaultgroup.com/    but if you look at the Screenshots and Video section in the main forum here you will find loads of BoS related films. (Far too many really).

Absolutey. Don’t get me wrong, I love CloD to bits, and it does have advantages over GBS, but at the end of the day, GBS’ engine was built with around 8 years worth of technological advancement over CloD (which was originally scheduled for a 2006 release).

 

Of course, the best thing to do is to just play both of them. Then you have twice as many updates and DLCs to murder your wallet look forward to

Also for multiplayer advice, you should check out the ATAG and ACG forums, they’re both pretty active in CloD MP (though I believe that ACG is currently focusing on GBS).

Excellent - many thanks. I think one of the main things I must do is..... PRACTICE!! ? - but I will aslo check out as suggested.
I need also to sort out how to zoom in on a target - but I'm aware that I'm really on the wrong forum here, so I guess I should get to the CLOD/BLITZ forum...

Also just realised that last time I flew in IL2 I'd forgotten to switch to my dedicated TrackIR profile, adjusted specifically for IL2 (which I believe helped re the wobble issue). TrackIR can't do this automatically, 'cos IL2 CLOD BLITZ doesn't appear in the games list ☹️....
Dammit - wish there was more than just a measly 24hrs in a day......

 

Right. Sorry to clog up this thread - will now try to stick to the CLOD BLITZ forum ?.
