Snap Zoom with TrackIR?

Hello

So I'm watching Ze Hairy's lovely flying as aways. 

 

And I noticed that he is able to snap to max zoom and back to min zoom instantly. 

 

How is this possible?

 

I'd like to be able to zoom instantly with my TrackIR, but I have to either axis or button in and out over time.

 

(I'm unsure if he is using headtracking or mouse look in this video)

Press escape, camera and put fov speed to max and fov inertia to min and it will behave like that I think.
