How to get skins to show up

Hi,

This is probably a silly question, but here goes anyway.

Do you have to have all the skins on a particular AC unlocked before custom ones will show up on your personal AC? In single or multiplayer?

I can put a custom skin on my AC in the mission editor, but it doesn't show up in game. I pretty much just do single player stuff at this time.

It must have something to do with the unlocking of the skins?? They do show up on AI AC. So I must be putting them in the proper place.

If you have a custom skin you can normally select it ingame by using the custom skin tab just under the paint skin list.

 

You can select as single player or multiplayer.

is there any any else; i dropped the skin into the right folder, go to game skin is not showing up?
