Needing a Big Bomb?

With tongue firmly in cheek, I say we need this monster, of course we would need a new plane that could handle it.

closest thing in ww2 would be a Grand Slam bomb!! U would need a lancaster for one of them

Finally, a near miss that would still kill a T-34!

HerrMuff, there's always the chance it will fly away, tumble two or three times, straighten up and keep driving :russian_ru:

Let's be honest, I have difficulty hitting anything at all, regardless ;)

Oh but the tanks, the tanks... With enough practice I can hit artillery pieces, cars, small buildings and whatever you name using bombs. Then put a tank there and even if I drop four of them in a row to compensate for any miscalculations the bastard magically snakes through the explosions and goes on.

A near miss - bomb would throw the tank into mid-air and kill the crew inside .

A near miss with a Grand Slam certainly would - it produced a crater 70 ft deep by 130 ft across when they tested it in the New Forest. It made nice holes in submarine pens, too. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2544549/Devastation-caused-22-000lb-Grand-Slam-bomb-Britains-biggest-EVER-conventional-weapon-finally-set-uncovered-hi-tech-radar-exploration-remote-forest.html
