since she doesn't have a lockable tailwheel. Any tips on taxiing and avoiding groundlooping after landings? Some video or track would be great :)

I always pull the stick to the stomach and give small burst of power if losing directional control authority, until I get to a full stop.

Just slam the brakes and stop completely as soon as the plane starts to swing, and start over. Eventually you'll get used to immediately start countering the moment you initiate a ground maneuver.

Thats what I did but once the aerodynamical forces stop being relevant it isn't enough.I was told to use breaks slightly to counter. The burst of power is what I do in ROF.

That's what my dad told me 5 min ago :)

It's the old rule of thumb about ground handling an aircraft (especially taildraggers): "As soon as you feel the plane responding to your controls, immediately try to make it do the opposite" In other words: As soon as you can see your input take effect you should start countering to avoid oversteering, groundlooping or accelerating too fast.

It works. she went left but didn't groundloop. She doesn't have a tendency to nose over as the E-7 has so I was to cautious using brakes.mp/h confused me. I'm used to kt and km/h The right speed is 115 mph. I was way too fast before that.

keep it at 20% after touchdown and let the engine pull keep you straight. (it's what i read and it works pretty good for me)
