I will be switching to a 4K resolution (3840x2160)  32 inch screen. It will run with a GTX 980Ti board.

My question here is if I will have trouble with BOS. Will the game be displayed in this native resolution?

Does anybody have experience running the game at such resolution and with a similar graphic card, and if it does impact a lot framerate when playing with all settings to the max.

BoS works great in 4K. To run it at Ultra you'll need at least the 980ti to be sure. I ended up with 2x Titan X cards in order to get it to a constant 60fps. There are stronger graphics cards coming soon that will be better able to deal with this res. One 980ti will do fairly well though. BoS is very CPU dependant, in situations with many other aircraft that will govern your frame rate.

I run 4k with GTX 970 and get very decent FPS, most drops are due to CPU, you should have no problem with 980Ti if your CPU can keep up

Yep, Autumn map in 4k is gorgeous, especially with reshade.

Thanks for the comments. The CPU I have is an Intel Core I7 4960X running at 4Ghz. That one should be Ok I suppose

Yeah that should work fine. I don't believe going to 4K changes anything with regard to the CPU. It's all GPU.

I ran some tests a while back in 4K comparing 1 vs 2 Titan X cards and in big dogfights adding the second GPU makes no difference. Clearly that situation is CPU bound. In situations with less objects like a free flight, the second graphics card helps.
