No_85_Gramps Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 I was doing a little research and it seems, at least at one point, that the triple buffering option in the Nvidia CP has no affect on D3D games, just open GL. There is an app, d3doverrider, that will force triple buffering in d3d games. I gave it a try and it sure seemed to smooth out game play for me. I also tried disabling vsync in BOS and using adaptive vsync in Nvidia CP but it did not seem as smooth as using d3doverrider. Has anyone else experimented with d3doverider, and if so, what did you find? I was not looking to improve my FPS but trying to smooth out the game play. d3doverrider was a part of RivaTuner but it can be found as a separate d/l.
