Pushing the Emil to the limit

With about 50% amount of fuel, I could get it to reach just above 10.000m.

It flipped over and I started a direct vertical dive. At approx a speed of 800km/h rudder and elevator section was ripped off. Without the tail I continued in an uncontrolled dive and just before I smashed into the ground, I had reached a speed just above the 1000km/h. Not bad at all :cool:.

I think he was at least 12 feet below ground from the crash alone.

Hahaha! well done...

 

Incidentally,  a G6 was dived to 708kph, the pilot believing that that was probably the max limit! (not sure I would have liked to try, lol!)

 Cool, is also normal to loose (from wings) ailerons, and flaps. But here you can see the all empennage is out, nice.
