Captain Eric Brown... Flying the Ju87D

Recommended Posts

Posted

Eric Brown needs no introduction, so I'll skip the history lesson.

These are his accounts and notes from his book, 'Wings of the Luftwaffe' on flying the Ju 87D.

Of particular interest are his notes on dive bombing, and the use of the automated system.

For those of you who do not have this book, I urge you to obtain it, as it has a wealth of information on flying many of the well known aircraft types that were in service with the Luftwaffe during WWII.

It's not a good idea to be posting copyrighted material.

Typical... and there's me trying to help everyone...

Ok, get your moderator mate to delete my posts... sorry to the rest of the gang who found these useful.

While i am sure the intent is to help everyone, it is not normal for a company owned/run site to host copyright material scanned from available books

I don't think anyone is being unreasonable here....

I am not or have ever stated that lukeff is being unreasonable... where did you get that from?

I even said he should get them removed... and by the way, I have been on to the Trading Standards and Intellectual Property Office just to cover my own backside in case these posts are not removed.

They have a section to refer to in case you believe you may have carried out an infringement, (even copying/displaying/typing information direct from a book can be seen as an infringement).

So, in fact it was a good job he reminded me.
