Clean both fighters achieve 18.5 Seconds at full fuel

The F-4 at WEP gets 16.5-17 Seconds, the Yak-1 with flaps does the same.

you don't use flaps flying the yak. It's an exploit. And she's extremly good without flaps. Idiots use flaps. As I stated before: if you need flaps flying a Yak - flay another plane. The Yak wasn't built to fly with flaps extended in combat.

no flaps before final. Read the manual and watched Yak 1-3-9 VVS intructional film. No flaps. She's good enough without the exploit.

Lots of Luftwhiners out there (I'm one of them). But on the point of turn times and "YUK-1's OP, Yakkocopter killschs me aghun" Whining I disagree.

I'm still waiting for a justification for having the Bf109E-7 15kph slower than specified in older tests.

As I said. The russians tested captured aircraft with low octane fuel. That's the data used for IL-2 and mass produced serial models were a lot worse than messerschmitt prototypes flown by test pilots in Augsburg. So it's not a big deal.

Difference is that F-4 gets 1 min of WEP and Yakcopter flaps are not time limited.

The BF109F4 in Russian test achieved correct speed, so the 19.5-20.5s turn time seems accurate.

The Emil achieved 35 seconds turn in russian tests. Testifies to the condition the russian Emil was in. It also did 440 at SL and 530 at alt.

Good balance, when Yak-1 drop the flaps the Bf 109 use WEP and run away. ;)

Not "running away"... rather "being smart". Turnfighting with a flapmonkeyplane is just stupid:)

My problem with Yak's flaps is not with the turning but with the anti gravity aspect of it that make the plane being able to prop hang, so unless you have massive energy advantage, energy fighting a Yak is still pretty dangerous.

I guess its like people don't know that planes can actually do what they can do.

Just the other night we had a missile test go up after dusk, and all the young people or kids started freaking out! OMG! a UFO, what is it?! OMG! well my young friends it was what we call a missile. so yes they do exist.
