indiaciki Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 (edited) In comparison to 109 F / G 1. figured TO to be a lot easier without flaps 2. Final at 200 km/h as oppsed to 180 km/h (F) 3. Touchdown will occur at 150 km/h (same) 4. seems to have more drag or way lighter than the F - bleeding speed much faster 5. Tendecy to Ground loop at TO - might be the dirt RWY 6. slats have less impact at low speeds 7. less tendency to tun left after TO Did anybody else notice? Edited November 13, 2015 by indiaciki
indiaciki Posted November 13, 2015 Author Posted November 13, 2015 forgot that one: she'll nose over much easier than the F & G
Finkeren Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Definately didn't notice worse bleeding of energy. I think she keeps energy very nicely.
Dutchvdm Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 In comparison to 109 F / G 7. less tendency to tun left after TO Especially this! Maybe it's just me, but after flying the E-7 for a couple of weeks i found the F4 and G2 to be extremely annoying on this part. Grtz Martijn
Trinkof Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 (edited) Definately didn't notice worse bleeding of energy. I think she keeps energy very nicely. She bleed far less energy if you use the stabilizer to turn. Except for her speed, she is almost the perfect plane, as she does everything on par or better than her opponent. And as long as yak pilot rely on flaps and horizontal turn to escape.... E7 will win any 1v1 engagement at equal energy level. Edited November 13, 2015 by LAL_Trinkof
ScotsmanFlyingscotsman Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 I'm still bouncing on landing and damaging the prop, I'm really rubbish at landing these aircraft, but love the sim
indiaciki Posted November 15, 2015 Author Posted November 15, 2015 (edited) just fly patterns - 4-6 times in a row. Don't brake to soon. She'll nose over. If you brake you'll have to do it like driving on ice. break and release immidiately. maybe you don't gradually pull the stick before touchdown? or you're flaring too high and stall during flare?
