Guest deleted@50488 Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 I'm on 10, Pro, 64 bit, and wouldn't go back for anything! Stable, fast, secure - provided you properly configure it. I also enjoy using EDGE, although it still has some quirks.
No_85_Gramps Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 I'm with jcomm on this, except I haven't moved to "Edge" yet.
Fazer_Beam Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 Win 7 pro 64 bit here. For now, it will stay so. If it's not broke, do not fix it. Fazer. 1
Dutchvdm Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 (edited) Win 7 pro 64 bit here. For now, it will stay so. If it's not broke, do not fix it. Fazer. Same here. Still perfectly happy with it. Grt Martijn Edited November 12, 2015 by martijnvdm
pilotpierre Posted November 13, 2015 Author Posted November 13, 2015 I think I will stick to 7 pro 64 bit too. Sounds like a fair bit of cranking by some to get 20 working well.
indiaciki Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 (edited) I think I will stick to 7 pro 64 bit too. Sounds like a fair bit of cranking by some to get 20 working well. my son updated to 10 pro and switched back to 7 Pro 64 after one day. He said it was a desaster. I'm a former mac user for decades so I'm not into technical issues. .7 Pro is the best OS for win so far. The reason why I went from MAC to PC. Edited November 13, 2015 by indiaciki
unreasonable Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Win 7 pro 64 bit here. For now, it will stay so. If it's not broke, do not fix it. Fazer. My feelings entirely - also that of my tech guru who does all my IT needs. He actually says 10 works fine on his new laptop etc, but it offers nothing important for a gaming rig. (I even have my screen set up, menus etc set up to look as much like WinXP as possible Proud to be conservative!)
216th_Lucas_From_Hell Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 ...Vista Home Premium, 64 Yes, it is broken. Yes, I will fix it.
Sokol1 Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 (edited) Win 7/64 - installed more than a year, 0 issue. Test Win 10/64, work OK, but don't see advantage to motivate install again the programs that I have in 7, so this new is "for the future". And don't like that Metro interface - unfortunately BOS GUI "inspiration"... Edited November 14, 2015 by Sokol1
1PL-Husar-1Esk Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Win 10 and my force feedback problems went away. Win 7 was good too. Go for 10 it's good os for BOS and ROF.
ST_ami7b5 Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 (edited) Win 7/64 home premium. Will stay with it until last few weeks of the free upgrade 'deadline'.Then I will reconsider. Edited November 14, 2015 by ST_ami7b5
Nil Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Win 10 pro 64 bit here, (retail e- license even) I'm satisfied, not thrilled.. were on win 7 utlimate for a long time before i changed (that was still the best). But it's almost possible to turn off all 'stupid shit' from win 10, that they think we need, so it's ok!
6./ZG26_Emil Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Win 7 pro 64 bit here. For now, it will stay so. If it's not broke, do not fix it. Fazer. Absolutely
