tech help with 280x radeon needed plz

so i bought a radeon 280x last week

it didnt come with much sept the instructions and a driver cd so im a bit stuck on how to install it

i also bought a dvi connector and a pci wire,

now comes the question what  do i need to do or buy anything else for it to work  

the instrusctions just say plug it in dvi sub d  socket power cable/wire  and thats it ,install the driver and boom thats you.

so before i go looking for the latest driver on the net  for the 280 x because unfortunatly my dvd drive has packed in from me fiddling around with the technicals im off to the dentist tommorrow and can easy stop bu the pc shop what should i buy for my wiring or cards.
