WWGeezer Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 So while building a multiplayer mission it appears where ever the airfield icon is placed on the airfield is where the planes spawn when Identified as "parked". I edited the taxi pathway with the take off and parking waypoints, assumed that if I set a plane to take of "on the runway" it would spawn where the vvp circle is on the track. Am I missing something?
JimTM Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 (edited) The parked and runway options for planes determine whether the engine is off or running. So, to spawn a player plane on the runway with engine off place the airfield icon on the runway and set the plane to parked. The type of airfield object that you choose determines how many aircraft can spawn at that point and the spawn pattern (shown under the object choice in the object library). The orientation of the airfield object determines which way the spawn pattern is pointed. Edited November 8, 2015 by JimTM
WWGeezer Posted November 8, 2015 Author Posted November 8, 2015 Thanks guys, this helps a lot. Was suprised when I spawned and was already rolling down the tarmac ( throttle was wide open)
JimTM Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 Thanks guys, this helps a lot. Was suprised when I spawned and was already rolling down the tarmac ( throttle was wide open) I have to cycle my engine controls through their full range of motion before I spawn in to make sure that the engine virtual controls are in the correct position.
