No_85_Gramps Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Up until this morning BOS was running fine in full-screen mode but now the screen turns black, although you can still hear the background audio. Only fix is to shut down the computer, it's completely locking up my system. It is running fine in windowed-mode. I recently updated my NVidia drivers but it was working with the new drivers fine for the last few days. ROF, DCS, and everything else are fine. Any thoughts or suggestions? I5 4690 @3.9, GTX750 TI, latest NVidia driver 358.87, WIn 10 64 bit.
Fazer_Beam Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Just a shot in the dark... By default Windows 10 update itself and the PC drivers. It could have messed up with the nvidia drivers. Try to reinstall them. If it works, disable auto drivers update in Win 10. Fazer.
No_85_Gramps Posted November 7, 2015 Author Posted November 7, 2015 Did a complete re-install of 358.87 using DDU to clean out everything. Still had the same issue using full-screen mode (it was also a problem in ROF and DCS). Used DDU once more and re-installed 358.50 and everything seems good at this point. Crazy, 358.87 were working fine and then all of a sudden the full-screen problem showed-up! Thanks for the suggestion re Win10! I haven't had a Win10 graphics driver update since the RTM version was released. I'm pretty sure that Win10 no longer auto-updates graphic drivers as it was creating lots of problems. Happy Flying!
No_85_Gramps Posted November 7, 2015 Author Posted November 7, 2015 The problem re-surfaced and it seems to be related to Shadowplay being active. With it disabled full-screen mode is working correctly. We'll see how it goes...
