Guest deleted@50488 Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 I would no longer know how to play a flight simulator without TIR ...
VonMarts Posted November 6, 2015 Author Posted November 6, 2015 i have track ir for 6 years... but iam talking about the movement of the pilot head follow my movement.
GrendelsDad Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 I always enjoy when I am watching a Video and I start to move my head expecting the screen to move. I am conditioned like a good dog I guess.
Asgar Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 i have track ir for 6 years... but iam talking about the movement of the pilot head follow my movement. it's not doing that for me...weird
SR-F_Winger Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 For me neither. I saw in the pre anouncement video of the E-7 that the head is moving and was wondering when i checked and it didnt move. Anyone a clue?
VonMarts Posted November 6, 2015 Author Posted November 6, 2015 you must record your flight and move your head and you only can see it in the play movie. (hint move your head for exemple to up right then down left and then see it in play track.
ram0506 Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 If you are in cockpit view (F1), you can direct your view with TrackIr for example to the left. Keep your sight to the left and switch to outside view (F2), then the head of the pilot is pointing to the left side.

Guest deleted@50488 Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 DuH! Ok, now I got the spirit of the OP.... Whow - didn't notice either .... Thx !
Asgar Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 basically. you see the last position you're in when you leave the first person view. but you can't move it around while in F2 view right? I also think you can't see other peoples heads move right? Most of the time i fly with one or two other people in formation. but the head movement of everyone seems quite random and does not reflect our movements (at least not last time we tested it)
migmadmarine Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 The first part is correct, unsure about the rest.
SharpeXB Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 Oh yeah it's cool. Rise of Flight did that too. The animated pilot effect is even more perceptible in the open cockpit planes
Gump Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 heh heh...just wondering what fb=arhangel's head looks like to a spectator, with him using those snap views. everytime i watch his videos i feel like a chicken, snapping my head around.
Asgar Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Arhangel...i'm just gonna enjoy the fact that my wing man killed him yesterday and ended his streak
