Any help? this is supposed to happen if Redist on your machine is newer or same as the one with this small patch. You have nothing to update there. Just hit "cancel" and you're done. When you start your game, it should read in bottom left corner: v 4.12.2 HSFX 7.0.1 if it doesn't then you made a mistake somewhere. Any help? Don't worry, it's normal. It won't update because there is a better version on your computer so there's no need for the installer to install another version. Just click 'close' and it should be good!

SOLIDKREATE Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 (edited) This is all I get after updating. I get a 5% load screen that hangs for about 20 seconds. I installed in order: v4.07 HSFX 6 v4.12 HSFX 7.01 (used auto updater) This is what I see on launch. It also will not ever launch again until I re-start my computer. I also saved this missing sound .SFS files from HSFX 6.0 as well and put them back in. It seems to be a problem with v7.01. Should I have installed HSFX 7.0 instead of using the v7.01 updater? After you have installed 4.10.1 run it and then download and install 4.11 and 4.12 READ this thread http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=31667 There is quite a bit of downloading to do!

Stray Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 (edited) Spektre, bear in mind you should COPY the whole IL-2 folder from Ubisoft folder and PASTE it anywhere on C drive, loose. Run it from new location to see if it works. If you have Steam version, copy from Steam/Common folder. When you move forward from 4.07, stop at HSFX 6.0 and update to HSFX 6.0.17 and test if runs well. If so, carry on with updating until you reach 4.12.1 WITH HSFX 7.0 mod. Only then update to HSFX 7.01 without updating to 4.12.2. HSFX 7.0.1 updates your stock to 4.12.2 automatically. This is crucial!!! Step by step guide on HSFX installation with pictures right up to 6.0.17 here ( move down to Zig's post http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=ForumsPro&file=viewtopic&t=16752 ) To join multiplayer games install HyperLobby from hyperfighter.sk Edit: DD_Crash is right. If you want to fly Vietnam, you need to have another copy of Il-2 1946 on your pc and Mod it with UP3. Download and install 4.11 and 4.12 go straight to installing HSFX 7 (no need to install HSFX 6 first) I will try that tonight. So, let me gte this straight before I mess it up again, LOL Install 242 Sqn Mega Patch 4.07 - 4.11 (all one file).
