Stuka load out employment

I don't know much about the use of stukas in combat, and a question has popped in my head during a recent flight. With load outs like one SC500 and four SC50 on the outer pylons, would the single large bomb be the only dropped in the initial dive, and the others dropped during strafing attacks on other targets or would all five be released at once against a single target? Would the stukas remain in the area to strafe at all, or would they return to base immediately after pulling out of the dive?

depended on the mission if target area was protected no they would bomb and go.
