Trooper117 Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Eric Brown needs no introduction, so I'll skip the history lesson. These are his accounts and notes from his book, 'Wings of the Luftwaffe' on flying the Fw 190 A4. I know we have the A3 in game, but his observations on handling are still pertinent. For those of you who do not have this book, I urge you to obtain it, as it has a wealth of information on flying many of the well known aircraft types that were in service with the Luftwaffe during WWII. Please start reading from ''Superb control harmony'' onwards, Hope this is useful... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5
Czar66 Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Amazing. Just when I'm more inclined to get into the 190 with more depth. Good timing.
Trooper117 Posted November 19, 2015 Author Posted November 19, 2015 I've been warned off about copyright so I can't post anymore manuals or pilot accounts or data... sorry chaps. 1

andyw248 Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 Yeah there's a subtle difference between producing your own contribution and quoting someone inline, vs. just re-posting content that is owned by others. I'd recommend the former.
Dakpilot Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 No its not a shame the shame will be when no-one bothers to invest their time to make and research books any more, because of the internet (this is no way aimed at the OP who was obviously only being helpfull to the community) Cheers Dakpilot
Trooper117 Posted November 20, 2015 Author Posted November 20, 2015 I have a huge library of WWI and WWII aviation books, I've been collecting them for many years, so all my technical info and scans that I post on any forum comes from there, not the internet. However, not everyone can afford to own all the books I own, so the internet is a god given must have, so I can see both sides of the coin. 2
