AI aiming skills in frontal attacks unrealistic good

Hi,

from my point of view the shooting skills of AI planes during frontal attacks are unrealistic good.

In offline missions it seems to me that even average AI planes hit with ca.80-90% probability during frontal assaults.

I think in reality it was really difficult for an average Pilot to aim with a plane in such a short time at the moving enemy.

From my point of view this has a negative effect on the gameplay.

Is it possible to reduce the aiming skills of ai pilots to a more realistic level?

Best regards

Its problematic until you figure out that if you kick in rudder so that you are not flying in a straight path where your nose is pointed - they generally miss.

Go give it a try and let me know if you were successful.

Prior to figuring that out it was rather frustrating I agree. The above only really exploits their coded aim - but you are right, it is deadly accurate on H2H passes.

Hip Tripwire,

I just wanted to try out your advice but the AI pilots seem to be in the forum too. At the moment no one of them wants to attack me head on head!

Best regards
