Hi, I want to know if or how I can increase my field of view angle? I've map a key that zoom out and in already but the zoom out is still way to close to the dashboard for my taste/eye.

Thanks

Manual?

Thanks for the manual Dakpilot. I think I wasn't clear. My zoom in or out are map and work accordingly but even when I am zoom out at the maximum it is still way to close and I only have a FoV of around 70 degree. How can I increase my FoV more or if your prefer zoom further more.

:D

Like the man said, see Section 9, pg 40 of manual, "Adjusting the default head position".

Thanks for your reply. I did all that and I understand but At the max zoom out  or if I press the home key until the max position (It stop moving backward) we are still to close and the FoV is still too narrow. That's what I mean.

How can I increase the FoV further or zoom it out more backward

You can't increase your vertical FOV beyond that. You can increase your horizontal FOV by using wider aspect ratios, e.g. using a 21:9 or triple-screen setup.

Nice DB, I did a search looking for the same.

The field of view is pretty crap. I got a sore neck from all the loking around today. Going to mess with track IR and aspect ratio.

Planes still feel off though in flight. Too light and floaty feeling.

Reinstalled today, still disappointing.

No need to mess with aspect ratio.

If you are using track IR simply lean in towards your monitor and hit your TiR center key. When you sit back you will be zoomed further out. Zoom in/out keys will still work but you will now be able to have a wider FOV.

SMOKEJUMPER I hope you stick with BoS. It takes a bit to get used to but it is a fantastic sim.
