Why is it that campaign mode has only two realism options [ Normal + Expert ] were as Missions has the custom option added, I'm sure that are a lot of us casual flyers who would able to fly and enjoy what the campaign mode has to offer. I know that there are a lot of top expert pilots out there, but there are a hell of a lot of us casual ones also. Would it take much for the developers to add the custom option to campaigns, just consider all the new potential buyers who have never owned a joystick before. Cheers.

LLv24_Zami Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 (edited) Couldn't agree more with OP. I think it is a question of mission points caused by the campaign system. You get more points from expert difficulty. But you can basicly customize your settings by selecting normal and using keys to switch on or off certain features. Sokol1 Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 If you select NORMAL mode and remove the "aids" (engine management, navigation, visual) the only difference for EXPERT mode became the external view and XP points that is more (if this matter for you). Opera resume: you can make NORMAL more "difficult", but can't make EXPERT more easy.
simplyjames Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 Just wondering, what would you make the settings?For a while I was playing on normal but hiding the hud with a keypress. I'd do this to find the objective/enemies then turn the HUD off so it was more or less expert mode. Good times. Now a days I just set it to expert because I realized you can use the map to navigate which was always my biggest problem.
Dakpilot Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 As has been said, just fly 'normal' it can be configured to give the same experience as 'Expert' with the option of external views, handy to use for taxi practice...the Exp points dont matter.. just fly more Cheers Dakpilot
