GunnyHighway Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 I saw a vid on u-tube regarding some T-34's in action. Is it something developed within the scope of the Flight simulator and belonging to the flight simulator? Or are you working on a WWII Russian TANK simulator? (I wish you'd say yes to that question, but the truth will do)
Finkeren Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Nobody knows for sure what it's for yet. Han has just answered in the questions thread, that he'll have more info in November. Most likely drivable tanks are gonna be a feature of the flight sim and just that, but who knows?
71st_AH_Hooves Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 I'd expect a pretty simple tank experience guys. No advanced armor values, or super accurate performance to its rl counterpart. Just drivable and shoots blessed versions of what you see on the ground. But I will say having the tank insides accurate ND accurate non adjustable gun sight are going a long way towards visu realism.
DB605 Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 I hope tanks will be simulated as advanced as possible 1
71st_AH_Hooves Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 I want to say I saw in a q and a that if there is alot of interest in tanks that it will get more love so to speak. I can tell you I. Praying they are good enough to warrant my creation of a tanks server, where air support is exactly that. Just support. I'm envisioning War Thunder, but totally realistic. Taking out as many arcade behaviors as possible.
GunnyHighway Posted October 29, 2015 Author Posted October 29, 2015 Outstanding!...I'll be there scrutinizing the skies!
CheeseGromit Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 I want to say I saw in a q and a that if there is alot of interest in tanks that it will get more love so to speak. If they play well I'll definitely be throwing all my interest at it. 1
Yogiflight Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Yeah, would be a nice variety. And tanks don't stall that easy.
Feathered_IV Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Maybe they've licenced the DN engine and somebody else is going to do a tank sim.
