vx111vx111swift Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 My PC is not up to standards for flying in this great game. So I am thinking about purchasing a gameing Desktoop. Origin or Digital storm. I am wondering how long it would take to download the game into this new PC. Being as I hold the premium game and all the updates from day one. By the way way I am not a computer person ,so any help in ddesigning a PC for about 3 G would be helpfull. Thanks men
Buglord Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Hello it depends on your download speed ,with my connection it only took about an hour to reinstall BOS and i built my own PC but there are a lot more qualified here to guide you to building a new gaming rig for you and seeing you have 3 grand to spend you can make a pretty good gaming rig for that money.
ACG_pezman Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Wow 3 grand for a pc?!? That is an uber pc man. Your talking an i9 cpu and three gfx cards lol. If you want some help just private message me, I'll be glad to help however I can.
VBF-12_Stick-95 Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 You can backup and copy to the new computer. You can have more than one copy of the game on a computer.
Jade_Monkey Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 You dont need to spend 3K on a computer to play this game. Although it's a fantastic game, the tech is not cutting edge and there are some botlenecks. This means that it doesnt take advantage of the best computers out there. Something like this should be plenty: https://www.digitalstorm.com/configurator.asp?id=1283286 Spend the rest of your budget on a nice monitor, a HOTAS and TrackIR 5 if you dont have any of those. Spending on these will improve your experience x1000 than investing in a higher end PC.
von_Tom Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 3G in what currency? If it's Yen you could maybe afford an abacus. Second hand. If it's British pounds please lend me some cash! von Tom
PatrickAWlson Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 (edited) I just sprung for a Digital Storm to replace my 6 year old HP. The Computer $1,665 after shipping. I thought it represented very good value. Edited October 29, 2015 by PatrickAWlson
VBF-12_Stick-95 Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 Thanks for the heads up on Digital Storm. Looks like good prices and specs. I might be on the market over the next year, mine is getting old... like me.
