the current partitioned drive (c:\) is getting a bit crowded. I'd like to move my 1c folder to another partition. Any tips\warnings I should be aware of?

thanks!

I'm far from and expert on this buddy but your key problem is the registry I think. You see when you install a program, or so it use to be, it places traces in the registry so IT knows how to find it. You move the folder and it losses track of it. That's the simple version. It's much more complex. Someone more wavy can most likely tell you how to do this or perhaps goggle it and see what you get.

Other wise all you could domes uninstall and reinstall else where.

Depend if your version it's from steam or not.

In any case you can move the original Il2 BoS folder to other partition, only you need to do a new direct access to Il2.exe.

But if your version it's from steam, you'll have some problems with future updates. Maybe will possible to change inside Steam the new folder of your simulator to solve this, I don't know if it's possible

Should not be a problem. I don't think BOS (not the steam ver) is tied in to the registry. For fun I copied BOS to a USB flash drive, I was just curious, and it ran fine.
