Can I stand on my plane?

I know you've heard the complaint before. I am full real and in the cockpit of a plane somewhere on some airfield and I have no clue where to taxi the plane to get to the air strip.

A real pilot at least has some idea where he is on a small airfield. How about at least starting us out from a visual perspective of a pilot standing on the wind of his plane? I am using TrackIR.

Or how about a truck? Some driver can drive me around for a bit with me standing in the back of the truck.

But you have to know just where you are on the airfield to begin with. See the several post about the grass.

Look for the control tower as a reference point.
