Green, yellow and none at all?

When going to the multiplayer selection I see the ping values column. I know what green means and yellow and the smaller the number the better and faster the connection is.

But what does nothing at all mean? Particularly when there are plenty of people in the server?

Green and yellow are just quick look colors, they actually mean nothing. The number is all that matters. The ones with no number mean that they are not responding to ping requests.

 

They could either be blocking ICMP, have ping disabled in the server (if that's possible) or it is still waiting for a response back to give you a value. So it just means there's an absence of ping value because of some reason.
