Blitzen Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 I know we can go through other objects ( tanks , trucks, guns & trains, etc.) with F5 key but I have not found the right keystroke that will allow me to go through "parked aircraft" .That is to say the ones that probably will not be going anywhere & are primarily "window dressing " at various airfields.I noticed quite a few "targets to be strafed" in the first mission the new Campaign installed today & thought there might be some interesting screenshots to be had if only one could get a ground's eye view of these nicely placed aircraft.
-TBC-AeroAce Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 If u mean static aircraft I believe that the answer is no
Blitzen Posted October 27, 2015 Author Posted October 27, 2015 D____N! It is one of the more visually interesting thing about CloD that you can practically walk around the different airfields...I hoped you could here as well & I had just missed it...
migmadmarine Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Well, if you hit F11 you get a free camera, controlled with wsad, and a few other buttons, which can be positioned to show you what you want to see.
-TBC-AeroAce Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Yeah do above and u will have same effect
Blitzen Posted October 27, 2015 Author Posted October 27, 2015 (edited) Um...er.... wsad?Have I suddenly gone dyslectic??? Edited October 27, 2015 by Blitzen
keeno Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 "WSAD" on your keyboard, W=left, S=down, A=left, D=right.
migmadmarine Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Ya, sorry about that, but also I believe W=Forward and S=back, but in any case, it's easy enough to work out when you give it a go, and WSAD are the pretty standard movement controls with a keyboard in gaming.
No601_Swallow Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Your friendly neighbourhood mission builder could always install a camera if there's a cool airfield worth watching. (I still want to build a ruined Pitomnik choked with the wrecks of crashed and downed aircraft - the vanguard of the advancing Russians, seeing it from a distance, thought at first it was a mysterious new town unmarked on their maps.)
Blitzen Posted October 28, 2015 Author Posted October 28, 2015 Good tip Guys- I never knew about F11 key ! Not quite as handy as the function in CloD but not bad:
