=81FG=HellKitten Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 This happens a lot and quite hilarious. I know devs will hav to fix it soon thou :'( 1
II/JG17_HerrMurf Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 (edited) What is there to fix? Spawning happens in every flight sim. The pilot didn't S turn to clear his nose. Simple pilot error. Not much a DEV can do to solve that. Edited October 25, 2015 by [LBS]HerrMurf
Potenz Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 he's not complaining aboot anything, he's just showing what people does on multiplayer

Not much a DEV can do to solve that.If you have some speed and suddenly a plane spawns in front of you there is nothing you can do.
coconut Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 That's the runway spawn, am I right? There's a number of ways to diminish the chances this happens, but solving it perfectly might not be easy. Using that spawn is IMHO not a good idea anyway. Pretty annoying when you are preparing to land and suddenly a plane appears out of nowhere on the runway. Better spawn people on the parking area, or if you want to make it possible for people who can't taxi to play in your mission, provide an air spawn.
FuriousMeow Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 That's mission design. Writing in code to predict when an airplane starts moving, their trajectory, and to eliminate spawn points in front of that moving aircraft simply won't happen because it takes a lot to code that, it increases net traffic, and most importantly lag and lost packets means it won't work a good amount of the time. Maybe don't play servers that spawn on the runway, or taxi off to the side of the runway around the spawn area on the runway, and then take off. Who am I kidding? Very few taxi here.

Not much a DEV can do to solve that. Problem is a problem. It needs to be addressed. It may happen frequently in other flight sims too, but that doesnt mean it should not be fixed in BoS. And i would not say that is a pilot error. This problem is just unexpectable.
Saurer Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Ànd why is it the responibility of the devs to teach players to watch if the runway is clear?
[CPT]milopugdog Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Ànd why is it the responibility of the devs to teach players to watch if the runway is clear? It was clear until they passed the point of no return.
Saurer Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 (edited) O yes did see that now, thanks Edited October 25, 2015 by Saurer
Y-29.Silky Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 ... Or that moment when a new match begins and there's 20 people spawned in where someone accidentally drops his 1800kg because "B" does not stand for "Brakes", but rather, "Bomb".
TP_Jacko Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Seriously guys the answer is very simple. GET ON TEAMSPEAK make a call when you are about to spawn or am i too used to squadron life
II/JG17_HerrMurf Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Man, be carefull on taxiing How did the Luftwaffe solve its spawn problem during the war?
707shap_Srbin Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Problem was solved in 2 ways: 1. Mechanic on the wing: 2. Mechanic on the taxiway: 1
Sokol1 Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 (edited) Or, always "S" taxi carefully for 1/3 of runway - to leave the spawn area - before "slam the throttle". Edited October 25, 2015 by Sokol1
johncage Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 spawn in air is the only way to do things and also removes vulching. two birds with one stone.
unreasonable Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Man, be carefull on taxiing Great picture. Looks like they are trying to make a baby Focke-Wulf.
Potenz Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Man, be carefull on taxiing and this is how germany could keep the Fw production running 2
II/JG17_HerrMurf Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Air spawning is for the weak............and the bomb laden. It is acceptable for bombers and fighter bombers so they don't have to climb for 2.3 of a round to get to altitude.
