Finkeren Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 (edited) Just a bit of footage I shot to prove a point in another thread. However, since this is the first time I've ever made a recording in BoS (or really any other game) I thought I'd drop it here as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQINqnPBij0 Yes, I'm aware, that I don't outright 'kill' all of them, number two and three were finished off by my AI comrades, but I did manage to punch the fight out of all of them within a rather short time. (And yes: I'm also aware of the stuttering ) Edited October 14, 2015 by Finkeren
SvAF/F19_Klunk Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 (edited) pretty much the same manouvers as I use when attacking bombers, even though I might end up a little from the top and more in a side angle so to speak... interesting. Thanx for sharing Edited October 14, 2015 by SvAF/F19_Klunk
StG2_Juuti Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 If you use the Lagg with 23mm, there is a simple combat arithmetic formula: 1 assault = 1 Heinkel-Kill. You need a astonishing little number of rounds. Try this with a single Fw 190 against a Peshka bunch.
Pierre64 Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Lol, I have read mistakenly : "Four Heinekens in two minutes"... 2

I didn't post this to tell people what an amazingly good shot I am (though I am - nah, not really ) But hey, challenge accepted. Lol, I have read mistakenly : "Four Heinekens in two minutes"... I can do that too Though I'd prefer almost any other brand.
unreasonable Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Are you recording using FRAPS in game? This causes stuttering for me. I found that recording a track ingame but with FRAPS off, and then later using FRAPS to film the parts of the track I wanted produced much better results: both in-game where FRAPS has caused me frame rate problems, and in terms of the finished product. Plus you can use free camera etc in the track to get a variety of views. 1

This stuttering happens from time to time for me, but for some reason only in quick mission. I've never had issues in the campaign, single missions (even the large PWCG-generated ones) or MP.
unreasonable Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 OK - I have to warn you though that once you start on the movie making, you may become addicted. I only started RoF movie making 3-4 months ago, and now it has become a positive distraction from actual flying! Spending my whole time finding 2-3 minutes music clips from YouTube, learning how to make appropriate (or even inappropriate skins), wondering how to put Maurice Chevalier into a RoF movie .... (see my channel for the answer). I have not made a BoS movie yet although I do have a synopsis for one - or at least a film that includes BoS material. Just stay away from the heavy metal musical accompaniments, keep them under 4 minutes and you are already doing better than average work!
