Just got a Thrustmaster Warthog....question regarding toggle switches

Hey guys,

I am certain I am not the only one with this stick and just wanted to know how you set up the toggle switches. 

 

I wish to have them say put Landing Gear up in one direction and then Landing Gear down in the other. Can this be done?

The game dont have support for separated "ON/OFF" commands in most of controls, as I remember the exception is Flaps where you can use different inputs for Up and for Down.

 

The other controls is "toggle": press once for ON, press again for OFF, rinse and repeat, like you do in keyboard (or with X-55 momentary switches).

 

You can map some Warthog 2/3 positions switchs for LG, setting the same function in both switch positions (E.g. switch UP send G, switch down send G) - each control accept 3 different inputs on keys or joy' button -  will work... until became out of sync because you hit re-fly but forget to set the switch according, so the things became inverted...  

 

For this reason became more practical use one of this two press buttons on throttle base to control landing gear.

 

With flaps this don't happen because switch up command on only flaps UP (F), and switch down only flaps DOWN (Shift+F).
