Can Landlighter be made to point upwards

I want to use the land lighter as a emergency beacon and have it point vertically into clouds. Can this be done.

The answer is no. Its classed as artillery and is automatically set on the ground. I just wondered if you could rotate an object like CloD

I think you can try this

 

Put a search light linked to a command attack on a fake block placed upper in the sky

 

Unfortunatly i try but you can't place the fake bloc in the air

Thanks Carleo, I guess the model is correct for real life but not for making a mission for fun and games  Looks like air racing would be limited in BoS. In IL2 1946 the I-16 Cup maps were genius
