I know it is now possible to increase the amount of high detail world rendered by the engine in game but the rendering of distant aircraft still seems a little weak for me. (You can't see distant contacts at proper ranges of over 5km, 10 to 15km should be possible at least) The current implementation makes life very difficult when setting up attacks and deciding on tactics in full real MP battles, especially in aircraft like the 190. Distant contacts are just invisible outside 5km which I suppose is due to low res blurring since they must be rendered right? If there is a workaround for this I would really appreciate some info.

1PL-Husar-1Esk Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 (edited) For me it's hard to distinguish planes against sky (looking from below) i compare it to ROF where planes at same height and drowing distances are more visible against sky - it's looks like ROF sky has more resolution without bad looking color transition aka BOS have and ROF planes are darker. Remontti Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Yes, it's very easy lose someone in the blue. But as compared to ROF, I think the planes are easier to spot in BOS (exception with the blue sky).

AstrixAU Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 (edited) I was told in the game chat that the devs have allowed the info to be increased manually in the game files and said I would be able to find it on the forums, I haven't been able to find anything about this. Re-shade is much better as you can use the in game AA and are not forced to use your GPU driver software for AA. Thanks anyway.
