Dutchvdm Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Hi guys, I'm having trouble with the level autopilot of the Bf 109 G2. When activated, it starts to wobble for a minute for it levels out. Is this normal? The F4 doesn't have this problem. Hope you can help. It's not a big issue but annoying none the less. Thnx Grt Martijn
LLv24_Zami Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Yeah, seen that. It was same before this patch, sometimes. With this patch came AI Ju-87 wobling while climbing. And they pump throttle at the same time. I wrote a bug report about it. You might wanna do the same for Bf-109G2. Fortunetaly it seems the AI is getting constant upgrades
Dutchvdm Posted October 1, 2015 Author Posted October 1, 2015 Thnx! Good to hear i'm not the only one. Maybe the moderators can move this thread to the bug section? PS: The problem is constant here. It's not just sometimes. It happens every time. Grt M
LLv24_Zami Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 (edited) Must be something to do with the AI changes in 1.103 same as Stuka wobling issue. I'll try that level autopilot after work and report back. Haven't used it lot after update. Edited October 1, 2015 by Zami
Jade_Monkey Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Its been there before this patch. Its a bit random since i dont always get the wobbling.

LLv24_Zami Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Just tried it with QMB. G2 wobbles, F4 doesn`t do that. Strange.
Leaf Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Trim it properly, then set it to autolevel, it won´t wobble then. The wobbles occur from the autolevel overcompensating for the stabilizer not being set to level flight. 1
Willy__ Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 After the last patche they changed the default trim settings. Maybe its related ?

The wobbles occur from the autolevel overcompensating for the stabilizer not being set to level flight. Never thought of that. But I think the autopilot should trim the plane properly for level flight.
Y-29.Silky Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 The planes are automatically trimmed already when you start in SP and MP. It's probably the speed at which you start auto-level.

I tried this with the stabilizer (The trim options didn't seem to work for the G2, or am i doing something wrong?), and with +70 % it seems to level out. When doing so it also doesn't push upwards. This seems about right? Grt Martijn
