New Screen buy option

Having hoarded a bit of money on the side to spend on something new for my gaming space I was looking forward to a new main screen.

 

At the moment I can live with my 24' full HD Led, works perfectly and will become a 2nd screen and was looking at two options;

 

- a 21:9 screen

 

- or a 1440p one

 

a 21:9 with 1440p is just too expensive, so it is one or the other.

 

Given the approximate prices are in range of the affordable given my budget, any of you has first hand experience with them or a flat out pro and cons ? Many thanks
